Time flies!

It's been quite a while since I last posted and a lot has happened!  Let's see if I can sum it up... Kim, Frank's niece, moved in with us in October and David is crazy about her and her black lab, Boomer!  We are thrilled to have her here!  We have been traveling a ton, David has now been on 14 flights!  We went to Aspen with my parents and brother for Thanksgiving, Oregon to surprise Frank's mom for her 60th birthday, Dallas for Christmas, and San Antonio for New Year's Eve and my cousin's wedding!  Hopefully we will be home for a while now!  David is 91/2 months old now, his favorite activities include crawling, standing, clapping, throwing anything he can get his hands on, singing the Elmo Song, and lots of eating!  I'll be posting some new photos, in the meantime here's a quick video of one of David's favorite games to play with Kim...

Pumpkin Harvest Festival

Our CSA, Garden of Eden, hosted their first annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival today to benefit the Escondido Women's Shelter.  For those of your that don't know, we are obsessed with our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture).  We prepay for 12 weeks at a time and pick up our 'box' of locally grown seasonal organic produce a couple blocks down our street on Sunday mornings.  So we were thrilled to take David to pick his first pumpkin at one of their farms!  He picked a beautiful Cinderella pumpkin that now adorns our dining room table!

Two front teeth

Fortunately, this time around teething hasn't been as heinous as it was at 3 months.  Yesterday David's two front bottom teeth made their appearance!  There was no sign of it coming other than the copious amounts of slobber that have been pouring out of his mouth for months.  I'll post pictures as soon as I can capture a good one!

David is loving food these days, when he can get his hands on it he will paint everything he can reach!
